UNIT CHANNEL GUIDE

To ensure the complex is maintained to the quality we expect, it is very important residents and renters adhere to the Rules and Regulations at Buena Vista. It is the responsibility of each owner to share these rules with their renters and rental companies.

The Rules and Regulations are available to look at on the portal at any time. We do have several but here is a summary of some that are being broken.

  • 4-day minimum rental period requirement.
  • Only owners can have pets, renters cannot.
  • No smoking/vaping in the pool or the elevator & common areas.
  • No glass in the pool or on the pool deck.
  • Parking registration certificates must be displayed visibly and filled out completely. This is to include Unit #, Valid Until date, & Rental Co. If the tag is not filled out correctly the tag is invalid.
  • There are only two parking spaces allowed per unit.
    • What happens if there is a violation?
      • If the parking tag is not displayed or filled out correctly, the vehicle will get a parking violation warning sticker. If the parking passes are not displayed or filled out correctly within 4 hours of the warning sticker the vehicle can be towed.
      • Some companies are not filling out the passes and leaving them for guests to do- please share this message with them so they are aware if they are not filled out & displayed properly they could be towed.
      • Waves Association Management has made rental companies aware of this but it is the owner's responsibility, even if you have a rental company.
  • Yellow/Black parking tags are for the owners and immediate family only.
    • You should never let a guest use this pass.
    • There are 7 covered spaces and they are for owners with this tag only.
      • Anyone parked in this area without the proper tag will get a parking violation sticker and be subject to towing.
  • Blue/white tags are for guests of the owner, who do not pay to rent.
    • You should never let a guest use this pass if they are paying rent. They are required to use the paper passes sold by your association by Waves.

 

The association nor our security company wants to put warning stickers on vehicles or tow vehicles, but rules must be followed. So please let your rental company know. If you handle your rentals make sure our rules are being followed

Security is on the property daily and at least twice per night to check the building, parking tags, and pool area. Most of the owners and rental companies are obeying the rules, but some need to improve. Our association can only hold owners responsible for our rules. Again, if you rent yourself follow these rules. If you have a rental company, make sure they know the rules, so guests are aware. Our rules are very simple to follow, and if followed make for a pleasant experience for all owners, guests, and renters.
